John M. McKay Scholarship for Children with Disabilities

Overview

The John M. McKay Scholarship Program for Students with Disabilities is a school choice program of the Florida Department of Education for students with special needs. Prerequisite

  1. Your child must be a current public school student and eligible for, or participating in, the ESE program.

Admission Procedure

Please obtain the following items and call or e-mail the Admissions office at (954) 472-0022 ext. 3062 to set an appointment with an admissions director.

  1. Most recent IEP (with the matrix number, obtained by your child's ESE specialist)
  2. Most recent report card
  3. Psychological educational battery
  4. Last 3 years of your tax returns (1040 forms) if financial aid is needed
